Campus Pride Index

A- A+

The Campus Pride Index comes as a tool for measuring the inclusion of the LGBTQIA + community in Romanian universities, being a tool which LGBTQIA + students can express their concern or agreement about how their identities are treated in academia, directly or indirectly. It also helps to raise awareness of the situation of Romanian universities as safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA + students.

On February 21, we launched UniDar – LGBT + Radar for the Romanian university environment.

The questionnaire is addressed to LGBT + students in Romania and aims to assess the inclusion of LGBT + people in universities and colleges all around the country. Fill it out and help us evaluate the universities!

UniDar is part of a broader evaluation methodology, along with quantitative and qualitative research, as well as community consultations, interviews, research, grassroots monitoring, testimonials, etc.

UniDar’s goal is to provide LGBT + young people who want to pursue a university degree with a radar of the university environment to support them in making a decision. We also want to inform the authorities about the specific needs of LGBT + young people in the university environment, in order to help build an educated and inclusive Romania.

UniDar is a mirror of LGBT + inclusion in the Romanian university environment. The information collected reflects the degree of LGBT + inclusion in the experience and perception of LGBT + students.
